Synopsis              : Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurological and devolopmental disorder that begins early in childhood and lasts throughout a person’s life

 

Objectives

  • To support each individual to access and develop educational, vocational, social and recreational opportunities.
  • To grow the awareness and understanding within our community and society generally of the unique challenges faced by individuals within the Autism spectrum.
  • To provide support and the necessary resources for those with ASD and their families

Specific objectives :To familiarise students to use the information about learning characteristics to  inform how they would work and interact with autistic childern.
